- Of course, the questions proffered by the Government in their questionnaire on keeping cash were lengthy, badly worded and designed to trip people up. Still, 18,691 people made their feelings known and 95% said they preferred to use cash.
- How absurd is it to expect every citizen of a nation to have not only an operating electronic device to make payments, but to have a bank account?
- The Government would like to have control over all money and electronic representation would only allow them to achieve this, wiping out the ‘black’ economy in one change. This would allow Governments to track, and more importantly, control the flow of your money.
